Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Look for models that allow you to select from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.
Many of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behavior.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive right up to walls without crashing into them, and was able to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one move. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rugs.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be emptied, though this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the dirty water tank regularly to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just drag a pad across a surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if needed.
This robot combination is simple to set up and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled as needed. It comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a wide space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums cannot. This device also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you want to keep out of the app.
